This Privacy Policy explains how Cleaner, Safer Skies (“the App”, “we”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our air-quality site and alert features. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

1) What we collect

• Approximate location you enter or share to show local AQI.
• Technical data (IP (possibly truncated), browser, pages viewed) for security and basic analytics.
• Alert preferences (optional): email/push token, locations/radius, AQI thresholds, quiet hours.

2) External data we use

• NASA TEMPO satellite products (e.g., NO₂, HCHO, O₃ columns)
• OpenAQ ground stations (PM₂․₅, PM₁₀, O₃, NO₂, …)
• OpenWeather weather & air-pollution forecasts

We fetch only what is needed to compute forecasts. We do not share your personal info with these providers.

3) How we use info

• Render current conditions and 24–48h forecasts for your area
• Maintain reliability, performance, and security

4) Cookies & local storage

We may store preferences (units, last location, theme) and session info. You can clear them in your browser settings.

5) Security

We use HTTPS and least-privilege access. No method is perfect—contact us if you see an issue.

6) Changes

We will post updates here with a new “Last updated” date.
